Great serving size actually full off one roll and delicious. Normally go to eastwind which is right by but wanted to try something new. Definitely worth switching to and the service was fantastic cute family business.
Decent service but they may be a little understaffed. Sushi seems pricy but the rolls are quite large and with a cash/student discount it's pretty good value. Lunch special sashimi platter is particularly good value. Fish tastes fresh and the rolls are good. The specials menu usually has some good items. I like the Sunny roll and G roll. Tonkotsu ramen is good as well
First time at this locally owned sushi restaurant. We had great service and amazing sushi. The portions are huge! I've never taken sushi home but the rolls are so big. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very clean and great tvs to watch the game. If you're looking for sushi, this is it.
We enjoyed our food. The staff was kind and attentive. The resturance was nice and clean.
My parents have been coming here for a bit and wanted us to come check it out! The people that run this place, worked at the sushi spot we'd always go to but then it was bought out so they opened up their own place. We really enjoyed all the food and the ramen was definitely a favorite. The service here was so amazing and staff was super kind.
Service was great! Our server was knowledgeable and gave us amazingly good recommendations. Atmosphere is nice too, not crowded but people still coming in and out. Food was outta this world, the G Roll changed my little sister's life, her new favorite (recommended by the server). Overall excellent experience.
Dinner here was overall good! There was no wait and we were sat right away. We were given complimentary crab wontons, which were so yummy! We loved the sunny roll with its buttery salmon and lemon topping--delicious. The red flame roll and tuna nigiri were okay; we would probably skip them next time, the tuna wasn't as fresh as we're used to. The Tonkotsu ramen fulfilled my cravings but took 40-45 minutes and were already almost done with our sushi, likely forgotten until we reminded them. Overall, good food & service with some minor hiccups!
Well Yelper's. Here's another one..I was hungry for sushi. This place was ducked off in its little own spot but connected business establishments..which was pretty cool. Clean and relaxing. Seeing no sushi bar..I questioned that(to myself that is). But believe me..when that sushi came out! It was slammin'! Very delicious and priced very well. Custer service was great. Very attentive. A great sushi spot to check out or at least try.. I will be back for more. You craved my sushi craving and gained a loyal customer. Thank you!
Such a great family owned Sushi Restaurant! Went here with my little family recently and we were pleasantly surprised. This is a pretty small restaurant but it's cute inside, very clean and sleek. We ended up with a few different rolls and some sashimi. Let me tell you... the display of the sushi was next level. They put the sashimi over shaved ice with lemon, edible flowers and fun green garnish. The rolls were on a beautiful wood board garnished with greens and a lobster tail. All of the fish was so fresh and everything was packed with flavor. On top of all of that the service was great. One of the owners (the wife) was our server. She talked with us a lot and made our son laugh. We will absolutely be back.
The music wasn't too loud, it looked very clean. There were not a lot of people here which is too bad. Its front entrance seems a little hidden but it's shady so if it's super busy you won't be toasting in the sun while waiting outside. There's plenty of parking. They have lunch specials, with ramen and chicken and sushi options. I had the teriyaki chicken, it came with a salad and a bowl of miso soup. The miso soup was better than some places, it didn't taste like it had been sitting "all day", but pretty standard. The salad was decent. I'm not a huge fan of red cabbage but I wasn't going to pick it off either. Basic, but good. Dressing, lettuce & red cabbage. I liked the dressing. It was a savory dressing. I didn't take pics. There was some confusion because I actually ordered the stuffed jalapeño which she said was stuffed with cream cheese and spicy tuna, and I was debating which I should order. I decided on the stuffed jalapeno and then she brought the stuffed avocado but it was totally fine because I wanted to try that anyway. They had a stuffed avocado. I'm huge avocado fan. Like an "advocado" for it. Yes dumb joke but idc. Anyway, it was half an avocado, fried and filled with crab mix. I think it also had masago. Overall I enjoyed it. If I was making that though, I'd actually have spicy tuna and crab mix, to change up the flavor. It was still good though, I enjoyed it. Definitely would have it again. I had a spicy scallop as well. I didn't order a bunch of sushi because I wanted chicken, but the spicy scallop was very good. 10/10 would eat it again. The teriyaki chicken was nicely cooked. It was juicy, not overly dry or salty. The rice was cooked properly as well. Yum. 9/10. She gave me a sucker when I paid. The kid in me was stoked. Yassss. Make sure not to skip out on this place. Support the small businesses!
